Has anyone had any experience with ROVPR offshore services. Their website http://www.rovpr.com/
Isn't working or their facebook page. Not a good sign. I personally would stick with the more established agencies but a friend wanting to start freelancing asked me about them and I cant find much.
Thanks in advance ROVSKI.

Rovski , Start off by finding out how many years experience these agencies have in ROV'S ....................... If they are a multi body shop from Accountants to Civil engineers to welders and crane ops /............. They are most probably Sharks or weeds to be avoided Especially any with London address s out of Isle of Dogs !
Also if the person speaks from experience out of a council flat he is probably a failed pilot in the first place still trying to make a quick buck off Greenhorns

Lostboy I hear you. If they cant get their website to work, chances are they are chancers. So many established and fair agencies, like PROFFS to work for. I was just putting the feelers out for a friend. They were looking for Egytian pilots at one stage which rings alarm bells for me.
Peace ROVSKI

Pretty sad how many agencies there are out there trying to get in on the ROV act, yet they have no clue about the industry. Don't see that with diving! Still, you lie on the bed you make, as it were.

"Based in Egypt and the Philippines" but both their contact numbers are mobiles (and one is a UK one!)
No physical address of where their office is.
No names of any of the staff.
According to LinkedIn, Karim Gheith is their operations manager. On his profile it states "We are not supply freelancers".
According to their Facebook page they are based in Alexandria, Egypt, where they also state
"we are not Agency,
We are not getting supply charges
We are not supply freelancers"
They only joined Facebook in February 2014.

Hey rayshields thanks for the reply , I can confirm they have office in Alexandria egypt , a friend of mine visited and described as small apartment , but the problem is what you have mentioned is all the information available on the net , only one employe on LinkedIn and this topic , which make it very suspicious for me , so I am looking for anyone who has worked with them or at least have some information , was hoping ROVSKI or anyone else can help with that.

Well you could spend a month working for them on a cockroach infested vessel and then not get paid.
