ROV NEWS: Perry Slingsby contract awarded by Submec Offshore, third contract in three week

Perry Slingsby contract awarded by Submec Offshore, third contract in three weeksSubmec Offshore has awarded leading supplier of remote intervention technologies and equipment Perry Slingsby Systems (PSS) a contract to supply Triton XLX 33 and 34 ROV systems.

The deal caps a successful month which has seen the Florida - based company land a string of contracts worth in excess of $17 million.

The two 3,000 meter rated systems include the latest in tooling and survey capabilities while featuring the PSS ICE (Integrated Controls Engine) real time control system with state-of-the-art Gb telemetry and graphical diagnostics.

Submec Offshore is a growth company based in Perth, Australia. It specializes in project support, operations and engineering with a focus on the Australia and SE Asia markets. The TXLX systems will be employed on various deepwater construction projects following their delivery in November 2008.
