RUE provides details on newbuild projectThe vessel has been designed with the air/nitrox diving and ROV support operations in focus. The vessel has a new and unique operationally-flexible solution, an interior and design focused on HSE, as well as a size and machinery that will make the vessel a rare cost-effective tool and a pleasant workplace.




•  ROV equipment is located in large hangars below deck, with capacity for operating two large working ROVs and one observation ROV simultaneously. In dive modus capacity is reduced by one working ROV.
•  ROV (Kystdesign and Sperre) and the dive equipment (Hydra) are in modules and can be mobilised/demobilised in the minimum amount of time.
•  Designed for operating two work ROVs simultaneously from the side hatches in the hangar.
•  Actively heave compensated 60-tonne knuckle boom crane, optimally positioned mid-ships with a range over the port and starboard sides and stern of the vessel. The crane machinery is located below deck (on the tanktop deck).
•  Aft slipway for SPM hose maintenance and cable laying.
•  All deck service supply is integrated below deck.
•  Obstruction-free work side (port side) for free handling of structures, tools or pipe arrangement.
•  Port side prepared for spool piece outriggers.
•  Large integrated deck workshop with overhead crane.
•  Multi-function DP 2 vessel with shelter deck
•  Dive equipment located in large hangars below deck. The equipment is suitable for back-to-back diving (air/nitrox) with wet bell.
