Recent sale successes for NETmc MarineNETmc Marine, the Scottish based developers of digital video recorders for the ROV and Diving inspection market, are please to announce a period of high sales activity of both the DVR Inspector and the newly launched videoTXT video overlay.

We are very proud to announce that Sub Atlantic have recently integrated a DVR Inspector in to one off their ROV spreads for Geoconsult in Norway. This is the first ROV manufacturer that has supplied a DVR Inspector as part of an ROV spread however we look forward to other ROV manufacturers following suit.

Subsea 7 have recently taken delivery of 5 DVR Inspectors, bought for permanent installation on the Subsea Viking, this is for work Subsea 7 has with BP West of Shetland. Included in the order were two 12TB NAS boxes for offshore storage. This order brings the number of units purchased by Subsea 7 this year to 16, the other units are being used on Shell contracts.

DVR Inspector: 19" unit with front panel removeable SATA drive - with revised layout for black box recordingOn the rental front, Technip have recently mobilised the Wellservicer for various projects with 3 DVR Inspectors and the first job using the new NETLINK interface was performed by Rovtech for Maersk OG of Aberdeen. The NETLINK interface was completed remotely from Australia and brings the number of inspection packages interfacing to the DVR Inspector to 4, the others being Coabis, SCOPE and Surespek.

The videoTXT, NETmc Marines video overlay, has only been on the market for a couple of months however units have already been sold to several operational companies including Subsea 7 and NCS Survey in Aberdeen and SubseaVision in Dorset. Rental companies DPS and Buccaneer have taken a mixture of single and triple channel units in to their rental pools.

VideoTXTOther companies are currently assessing the videoTXT and, with feedback being positive, we are hoping for high volumes of sales in the coming months.
