CodaOctopus on the water at Ocean Business: Nothing else like it!

MacArtney underwater equipment live in action at the Ocean Business exhibition

The MacArtney Underwater Technology Group will be showcasing various types of equipment at the upcoming Ocean Business 2009 exhibition in Southampton. At the dockside, visitors will be able to see first hand a working ROV with underwater cameras and sonar equipment, with multiplexer and visual display topside and experts on hand to explain the systems and to answer questions.


French Pavilion at Ocean Business 2009 goes full steam ahead

The Trade Commission of the French Embassy in London will showcase the best of French ocean technology at Ocean Business 2009. Ocean Business, which is held every two years at the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton (England), will take place from 31 March to 2 April 2009.


ROVworld Lda completes nine day exhibition at Nauticampo 2009, Lisbon!

The ROVworld Lda crew have just returned from Portugal’s premier marine exhibition held annually at Expo 98, Lisbon. Nauticampo 2009 ran from 7th Feb – 15th Feb and filled three exhibition halls.  On display at Nauticampo was everything marine ranging from Motor Yachts and Sailing Yachts to marine navigation, oil spill recovery systems and Micro ROV’s.

The Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) will open the Manned Research Submersible Shinkai 6500 and its support vessel Yokosuka to the public at the Odaira Pier, Port of Ominato in Mutsu City, Aomori Prefecture.


IMCA to highlight careers at OTC 2008

As an OTC supporting organisation, the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) is delighted that once again there will be an 'Energy Education Institute' aimed at 100 Houston area K-12 science teachers, and will themselves be taking an active role in promoting careers in the marine contracting industry to those teachers, and throughout the four days of OTC 2008 (Booth no: S14, Level 2).
