At the kind invitation of NETmc Marine, Aker Kvaerner Offshore Partner Ltd is pleased to be demonstrating the Coabis digital video data-gathering interface with NETmc Marine's DVR Inspector hardware at the upcoming Subsea UK 2005 exhibition. We shall be demonstrating how the interface has already been used offshore by a major oil and gas operator to gather, link and replay digital video within Coabis.

Oil giants and leading individuals from the global upstream sector are to take part in the eastern hemisphere's premier oil and gas show in Aberdeen later this year.

Offshore Europe 2005 is set to draw record crowds from around the world, reflecting its evolving global reach. The Subsea UK organisation and Britain's biggest aquarium, the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth, have teamed up to tackle the skills shortage in the subsea sector.

They are to encourage young people to pursue a career in marine and science technology.

In what is a first for the industry and the aquarium, a subsea exhibit demonstrating technology in action will be developed with input from the subsea sector.

Subsea Uk, the group formed to harness and promote the vast subsea experience in the country, has finalised the programme for its first innovation and technology seminar.
SubTech, being held in London on December 16, is sponsored by UWG Group and supported by the Society for Underwater Technology.

A new £7-million agreement for the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre might be worth £100 million to U.K. North East and the ancient Scottish city.

VideoRay Announces Dates of Its Annual Micro-ROV Conference for Hands-On Training and New Products

Exton, PA, June 10, 2004 – VideoRay today announced the dates of VIPS 2004 – the VideoRay International Partner Symposium ## that brings together users of its VideoRay submersible ROV (remotely operated vehicle), manufacturers of accessories and dealers.

Offshore Northern Seas, the Stavanger-, Norway based offshore technology exhibition and conference, is nearly fully booked, it was learned Tuesday.
Liv Marith Bjelland, exhibitions manager, confirmed that although there was a waiting list for some events, space was still available for exhibitors.
