Subsea 7Subsea 7 says it commences the first work to be performed under the US $2 million ROV services contract it was awarded by BP in October.  This work will run for 12 months starting early next year.

The workscope will include the provision of ROVs and associated services onboard the Transocean Rather mobile drilling unit.

The majority of tooling for the project will be provided in-house by BP, for which Subsea 7 hold the maintenance contract.  The drilling unit is to be located in the West of Shetland, according to Subsea 7.
