Gardner Technologies, Inc. joins the Hydroacoustics familyHAI (Hydroacoustics Inc.), developers of the unique battery operated underwater Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) are pleased to announce that it has signed Gardner Technologies Inc. (GTI) of Maryland, as exclusive Marketing Representatives for Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, and Eastern Pennsylvania for HAI's Proteus Series ROVs.

"GTI is very well positioned to sell this product family as they cover many related industry product lines including underwater video cameras, cables and connectors, imaging sonar and sonar printers" said Joyce Smith President HAI. "GTI has past experience in the fast growing ROV marketplace."

The Proteus ROV Series is designed and manufactured by HAI and represents the latest in underwater exploration technology. Proteus Series ROVs are used in support of law enforcement, marine salvage, inspection and exploration operations. The Proteus 500 has a working depth of 500 feet while the Proteus 1000 has a working depth of 1000 feet. The Proteus ROV series are battery operated which enables these units to be managed using a thin, strong light weight tether. A full array of sensors, bathymetries, sonar and video cameras are available.
