ODIM awarded subsea orders of NOK 42 million

ODIM awarded subsea orders of NOK 42 millionTwo contracts worth in excess of NOK 42 million to supply automated handling systems for remotely-operated vehicles (ROV) has been awarded by Olympic Ship AS to ODIM AS. The systems are due to be delivered within the end of first quarter 2008.

‘Again ODIM is awarded contracts in the promising subsea segment and yet again the systems are due to be delivered well into 2008. We expect the order flow to continue in this segment going forward, which will start to fill the order book beyond first quarter 2008', comments CEO Jogeir Romestrand.

The first contract of some NOK 23 million covers a combined overside and moonpool launch and recovery system (ODIM LARS™), which is a unique concept, developed in close cooperation with the industry. The handling equipment is designed to handle equipment which will be used in water depths down to 4 000 meters.

The second contract of some NOK 19 million covers a overside launch and recovery system which will handle equipment down to 3 000 meters.
