Travel Through London is Now Easier With New Liquids Policy
Date: Thursday, November 02, 2006 @ 13:28:04 EST

Travelling through and from London and the UK is now smoother with the welcome announcement by the UK Department for Transport to allow some liquid items in cabin baggage on UK departing flights.

This policy is in line with recent announcement by the European Uni0n on carriage of liquids, which is applicable on all airlines departing from all airports within the European Uni0n, as well as Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Kosovo and Albania, and is effective from Monday 6th November 2006.

Under the new policy, liquids must be held in containers not exceeding 100ml, be carried in a clear plastic bag (which will be provided to you at the airport) and must be removed from your cabin baggage at security screening. Please visit before your journey to get the latest information.

Please note that cabin bag policy remains the same for travel from or through the UK, which is 1 piece with maximum dimensions of 56cm x 45cm x 25cm.
