I'm going to Nigeria later this year. Never been before. Does anyone have info on a good night out in Lagos? I've heard it's a bit dangerous but surely the Africans are a happy bunch who like to party?

Comp'dup, Lagos is an absolutely brilliant place to party! To maximise your enjoyment only go clubbing alone, as a crowd of expats often intimidates the locals. Don't leave your money, Rolex and jewellery in the hotel safe.....coz it's not 'safe'. Take it with you! Always wear your client company's logo'd shirts and baseball caps so the locals can really appreciate your professional credentials. Finally, drink lots of alcohol....it's cheap as dirt and opens up your social horizons.

Have fun!! Wink

PATS BAR and BOBS BAR, and im sure since i last been there last year they be very dangerous.

Nandos on Victoria Island is actually very nice, theres also a decent chinese down the road from there and a very nice shopping centre between the beach and the Protea hotel which has a cinema with the latest screenings and good popcorn and sells genuine dvds.cds electronics. Its very secure
