This is one carried over from the old forum

Hi Sundodger,

The hotel has been taken over by Sam from the north isles motel in Yell.

The Kiln is now run by Vera, Zowie( the coulered guy) who was Vera's partner went bust and is now driving Taxis. The Fishermans is now a block of flats. C. Flints and POSERS still overun by the Kids. A new winebar opening up next to Da wheel in a few months time. The DEATHSTAR still open but falling apart

regards,
Shetlander

If you happen to be on the west side (Scalloway) then you have a choice
of the Hotel, and opposite, the Kiln bar. The Legion opens most nights and
the boating club will allow non members to visit. The North Atlantic fishery College has a excellent resteraunt, but booking is advised.

If you are on the East side (Lerwick) you will find Captain Flints, open at 0800 and the rest at 1100. If you want to take in a good night then visit me at Da Wheel Bar. ( open 11.00 - 01:00 ) doubles for £2, pints for £2.30 kareoke any time you want. Taxis on call to take you back, and a bloody good night out. Upstairs hopefully open by mid summer with late licence and a couple of pool tables at hand
