Purchased new in 2009 - Used 3 times. I have extra parts still in the bubble wrap. The unit was used once in a swimming pool and twice in a freshwater lake.
The Explorer is a step up from the Scout. It comes stock with a higher resolution camera that has an auto/manually adjusted focus. The camera also has a 180 degree tilt function that is very helpful when hovering. The Explorer has an on screen compass and depth gauge. The BEST advantage of the Explorer is the auto-depth feature that allows the unit to hover automatically at any depth.
I purchased the unit new for $10,100 (including tax and shipping) which seems to still be the standard retail price. I would like to sell it for $9,000 as it is still in brand new condition. I am willing to consider other reasonable offers and I am willing to pay for shipping.
Feel free to contact me anytime if you would like more information or if you have any questions. I have more pictures as well.
