Hi – I am looking for a valve control pack for an ROV style application. I need to control a large number of solenoid valves (Wandfluh NG4 series 24VDC) and also input a number of pressure and temperature sensors. The unit would ideally communicate with RS485 and an industry protocol such as Modbus. It will need to operate down to at least 1000 meters.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Stay safe...... Derek

Have a look at the Wago I/O system (www.wago.com).
Get a MODBUS buscoupler (RS485) and a couple of digital I/O modules to control your solenoids.

Hi Derek,

We produce a relatively small pressure tolerant (to 10,000 psi) card that controls bang bang and proportional valves that sits in our valve packs, it has analog inputs for pressure tolerant pressure transducers that we put in our packs too. It has current and voltage feedback and also has RS232, RS485 and CAN interfaces (the CAN bus provides a very fast, low latency network).

If you want I can send you the details.

BTW I work for Sub-Atlantic.
