Once again, Fugro asked me to sit in for training. I thought it very comical as I've been in the industry for 26 yrs. ...... At first I thought they were trying to offer me an instructors job.

who are you talking to in fugro, if its H/R then forget them and go straight to The main people.
try dave mckay 01224257500
fugro do run a lot of courses with new technology, with my experience of 15yrs offshore i still welcome this type of training because as you know the industry is changing all the time.
However If they are trying to get you on the ROV training course for trainnees then that is questionable?

Cheers Dude, tho' some of those "late night" posts were frothy, blurry, fuzzy, and sometimes off - the - wall. I'm still very much off the wall - I'm happy to say... How u bean?
James and Gina, it'd be a real gas to read some of those again but alas all is lost to the large cyber-explosions in Tronville!!
Yeah Truered, indeed I was talking to HR. I think I remember a Dave McKay from somewhere in the past. I'm doing okay with Mermaid Offshore, they're very fair, the bulk of the work is in SE Asia (where I live). Not too much politics unless it's a diver-run job...
No offence intended to divers or ex-divers but .... (fill in the blank yourselves)
