Hi. which one of these offshore survival training courses is better when you want to enter "the business"?
Or is there any other survival course better than these?
Thanks

If you do the course in Malaysia which is OPITO/OLF recognized you get both certificates.
They are really good, have a good setup and the course is well run.

There are numerous courses but the BOSIET and COET (OLF recognised) are the main one's for oil & gas work. If you're just working off a vessel then the STCW95 certification comes into play.
Don't forget the medical certification too, either UKOOA and OLF for oil & gas or ENG1 for vessel work.
I have the lot as it makes one more employable which answers your initial question. Take a look through the links to find reputable venues, prices vary wildly.
