On 2nd August 2010 Triton Group, the parent company of VisualSoft Ltd., merged with four other entities to create Forum Energy Technologies with the vision of building the leading provider for mission critical oilfield products and related services. As part our commitment to this vision, Forum Energy Technologies will be rationalising a number of the UK legal entities (DPS Offshore, UKPS and VisualSoft) under the umbrella of Forum Energy Technologies (UK) Limited. This will come into effect on the 1st of October 2010.

Wow this is an interesting thread having worked for Perry Slingsby in Jupiter. I'd love to comment but it wouldn't be ethical. I can say this, a very sad story.

If anyone needs light dimmers for the TXLS or TXLX, I just developed a replacement that will work or your money back, period. Same control format. Dimming mode select for halogens (maybe LED'S but haven't tested) Switching mode for HID's, over load and short circuit protection. For increased reliability some rewiring of the dimmer plugs is required but very easy stuff, no JB rewiring just at the plugs. Sorry the JB needs to be drained Smile. Two channels, 500watts/per. Price is $845 ea. less than Perry and better.

Any interest email me at bob@elwoodcontrols.com or call +1 561-714-0883. Or visit our website elwoodcontrols.com

Not so sure about UKPS. This is a quote from their website:

UKPS Offshore has become part of Forum Energy Technologies, with the vision of building the leading provider for mission critical oilfield products and related services.

So what about Perry Slingsby and the others?

Calm down everyone! UKPS, DPS, VisualSoft, Sub-Atlantic, Perry Slingsby carry on as before. All that is happening is that some parts are being joined together in Forum but it doesn't affect their trading names.
