Fugro Subsea Services Ltd. in Aberdeen, Scotland has taken delivery of their latest OCV vessel Fugro Symphony. The vessel is built by Bergen Group at BMV in Bergen.
Fugro Symphony is of ST-327L CD design, developed by Skipsteknisk. The vessel is based on the previously built ST-327 serie of Seismic vessels at BMV and therefor 300 series number. The corresponding offshore design number is ST-258L CD. The vessel is basically a sistervessel to Fugro Saltire, also built at BMV and delivered in 2008. However, the vessel is lengthened with 19,2 m.
Fugro Symphony has main dimensions 130,2 x 24, and is fitted with one 150t AHC offshore crane, ROV hangar, one main moon pool, helicopter deck and she has an accommodation suitable for 105 persons.
The naming ceremony took place in Bergen in May 5th 2011.
