ACQUISITION/MERGER NEWS

Sonavision Ltd. acquired by Nortek ASSonavision Ltd., world leaders in the fields of seabed mapping, imaging sonar and acoustic communications, has been acquired by Nortek AS based in Rud, Norway. Nortek is a well established company involved in the development and manufacture of Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP) and current meters for use in the ocean, rivers, lakes and laboratories.



The acquisition of Sonavision will expand Nortek's presence in the UK and in particular in the Oil and Gas sector.

Sonavision will continue to manufacture, sell and enhance its current range of sonars and subsea products and it will benefit from Nortek's strong global technical and distribution strengths.
