Global Marine Systems announces Seatronics as new distributor for its Predator R

Global Marine Systems announces Seatronics as new distributor for its Predator ROVGlobal Marine Systems has announced that Seatronics, a supplier of electronic subsea equipment to the hydrographic, environmental, geophysical, metocean, ROV and diving industries will distribute its 300m rated Inspection Class ROV system 'Predator'.

Based in Scotland, Seatronics is the latest in a line of international distributors for Global Marine's state-of-the art, portable ROV and it will rent the Predator out to customers in the UAE, Gulf of Mexico, Norway & Brazil.

"Expanding the Predator's ROV in these strategic locations is the next step in expanding our global reach and advancing our position as the leading player in the subsea robotics industry," explained Ray Ward, business development manager, Subsea Services, Global Marine Systems. "We are pleased to be partnering with Seatronics, a world-leading equipment rental company which is highly-regarded in the industry for excellent after sales and technical support."

globalmarine_predator2Global Marine's 300m rated Inspection Class ROV system 'Predator' is designed and manufactured at its Portland facility in Dorset UK. A state-of-the art, portable system, built using cutting-edge technology, 'The Predator' was developed to meet the ever demanding markets for rugged and reliable underwater viewing and survey systems.

"The Predator is designed to support multiple-choice add-ons which will enable our customers to have a near-customised experience," said David Currie, managing director, Seatronics. "We are committed to investing in the very latest hardware and were impressed by how Global Marine's ROV has been designed for ease of setup and sensor and tooling integration. Seatronics will work with Global Marine to ensure the Predator is maintained to the highest standards, tested thoroughly and supplied in first-class condition to our customers in these new markets."

'The Predator' uses the latest high reliability technology designs for maximum operating efficiency in shallow-water inspection and surveying jobs for the full spectrum of subsea and underwater industries, and was built by subsea engineers with practical, hands-on experience.
