John Van Kuyk, a business development manager with more than 25 years experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, has been brought in as the new Business Development Manager with subsea cable specialists, Offshore Marine Management.
John's role will involve increasing awareness of the company's services and capabilities to existing, new and potential clients and working in partnership with them to build long term relationships.
He will also aim to improve OMM's business, its deliverables, and client satisfaction and work with clients in all its key sectors to raise the company's profile in the market place.
"OMM is a rapidly growing company with an interesting business portfolio and I am looking forward to this challenge, particularly in relation to the offshore wind energy industry as this sector enters a period which promises considerable opportunities for growth," he said.
John comes to OMM from Prospect (part of the Hallin Group) where he was part of the Business Development Team, prior to this John was the Business Development Manager for Hallin Marine, Acergy Survey & Inspection Group and Anglo Eastern Crew Management (Singapore). John has an operations background in offshore survey and subsea construction with many years as Project Manager/Operations Manager for Subsea Offshore and DSND (now Subsea 7).
