BlueView Technologies is an Authorized Distributor of Leica Cyclone, a powerful stand-alone topographic software suite that makes it easy to quickly make accurate 3D maps.
Now for the first time engineers, surveyors, underwater operations managers and technicians can create detailed 3D maps of underwater structures and scenes when processing 3D scans captured using the new BlueView BV5000 Mechanical Scanning Sonar with Leica Cyclone software. Additionally, topographic laser scans and 3D mechanical sonar scans can be combined with Leica Cyclone software to create above and below waterline imagery for full viewership of the structure or object.
"BlueView and Leica have joined forces to provide our customers with a complete 3D imaging solution that enables our customers to focus on the work and not the manual," said Steve Chapman, Vice President Sales & Marketing BlueView Technologies, Inc. "Additionally we make it easy for our customers by providing a total solution available from one source, instead of evaluating and shopping individual software/hardware components."
BlueView Technologies recently sold Leica Cyclone software packages to Oceaneering and SeaTronics, both with offices in Houston, TX and worldwide operations. Both companies will employ their Cyclone software with new BlueView BV5000 3D Mechanical Scanning Systems while serving the oil and gas industry in the Gulf of Mexico.
