The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) Board of Directors is pleased to announce it has approved the creation of a new Offshore Technical Conference and Exhibition to be called Offshore Technology Conference-Brazil (OTCB), with the initial event to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in Early October 2011 and as a bi-annual event going forward to 2013 and 2015. The OTC Board and Quest Offshore Resources, Inc. (Quest) will operate and manage the event with OTC maintaining a controlling interest.
The conference will be focused on International Deepwater and Offshore Technology with the goal of providing attendees and exhibitors with an Exhibit and Technical Program which addresses the latest in technical advances, challenges and opportunities for the Deep and Ultra Deepwater Offshore sector in Brazil and other International regions. OTC Brazil will offer a unique Brazilian flair, providing opportunities to attendees for social and business networking as well as offering Brazilian Cultural events and contributions to social programs in Brazil. Quest has planned over 20 events over the past 8 years in Houston, New Orleans, Amsterdam, Pau, The Hague, London, Paris and Copenhagen through its various brands: Subsea Houston, Marine Construction Houston, Deep Gulf, MCE Deepwater Development and the Offshore Risk Forum. In addition, Quest has executed 3 successful Subsea Rio shows held in Rio de Janeiro, including Subsea Rio 2009, which will be incorporated into OTC Brazil in 2011.
The combination of the OTC Board of Directors representing 13 technical societies and industry associations and Quest Offshore will form a dynamic partnership to provide our attendees and exhibitors a major and important event which adds value to their businesses and careers.

Marking its 40th anniversary in 2009, the Offshore Technology Conference is the world's foremost event for the presentation of offshore resources in the fields of drilling, exploration, production and environmental protection.
