John and Linda Conrady, two pioneers in robotic potable water tank inspection, will appear at the upcoming "VIPS" MicroROV conference in St. Petersburg, Florida on October 26th through 29th. They have recently upgraded their ROV capabilities, and posted information on this on their website.
Utility Service Company, Inc. (USCI) acquired Conrady Consultant Services to add Remotely Operated Vehicle capabilities to their company for their clients that cannot, or do not want to, drain their tanks for an inspection. Since John and Linda Conrady, the owners of Conrady Consultant Services, had personally inspected more than 3,000 tanks from 1982 to 2008 throughout out the US and in Canada and Mexico, their expertise is being utilized by USCI to set up, train, and manage an ROV inspection division of Utility Service Company.
John Conrady's first presentation will be on Wednesday, October 28th at 10:00AM, entitled Lessons Learned from Seven Years of MicroROV Water Tank Inspection. Click here for further details.
John will also conduct a full day optional tank inspection class on Thursday October 29th. Click here for further details.
VideoRay is very proud to add Utility Service Inc. and the Conradys to the rapidly growing network of VideoRay users that do tank inspections throughout the world. We are pleased and honored to have someone with their expertise and experience presenting at the conference, and anyone in the industry is certain to profit from hearing them speak and talking to them during breaks in the conference.
