Schilling Robotics appoints Peter MacInnes as vice president of marketing

Schilling Robotics, LLC, experts in subsea systems, announced today that it has appointed Peter MacInnes as vice president of marketing. Bringing more than 20 years experience and a well-established background in subsea systems, MacInnes will play an integral role in the development and execution of Schilling's strategy. MacInnes' appointment will be effective June 1, 2009.
MacInnes joins Schilling after serving as global product line marketing manager at FMC Technologies where he was responsible for managing the product line marketing strategy of the surface and subsea business units. He has a unique depth of knowledge of the subsea and oil and gas markets as well as specific knowledge of ROV systems. His previous experience includes sales and marketing positions with OceanWorks International and Perry Slingsby Systems.
"MacInnes' experience at FMC provides him with the skills and practical background necessary to drive the growth of Schilling's technology-oriented products and systems in subsea markets. With his combination of industry knowledge, relationships, and strategic insights, he will be a key contributor to fostering world-class product initiatives for Schilling. MacInnes earned a BEng (with Honors) in Electronic and Information Engineering from the Robert Gordon University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He is an active member of the Society of Underwater Technology (SUT), Marine Technology Society (MTS), and the American Marketing Association (AMA).
