EcoNet - Tuesday, March 31st:
YSI, along with three of its divisions — SonTek/YSI, YSI Integrated Systems, and YSI Hydrodata — will be demonstrating three systems at the upcoming OceanBusiness Exhibition. These systems are designed to deliver cost-saving solutions to your oceanographic, environmental monitoring, and/or surveying data collection needs.
YSI will demonstrate EcoNet – a wireless, web-enabled data acquisition system consisting SonTek/YSI SL1500 side-looking current profiler, a YSI 6600V2 multi-parameter water quality monitor and YSI meteorological monitoring system. The entire system delivers big data at an affordable cost. Demonstration will be at the dockside area at 1130, with a follow up classroom presentation at 1600. EcoMapper - Wednesday, April 1st:
YSI will conduct a live demonstration of the EcoMapper Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV). The EcoMapper can be used to generate high resolution maps of water quality and bathymetry, easily and cost-effectively. It can also significantly enhance water quality monitoring programs by reducing time in the field, enable sampling of difficult-to-reach or shallow areas, expand monitoring frequency and resolution, and fill in the gaps of fixed-point monitoring systems. Demonstration will be at the dockside area at 1200, with a follow up classroom presentation at 1500. HydroSurveyor - Thursday, April 2nd:
SonTek/YSI will be previewing its HydroSurveyor system. Combining into a single unit a precision single-beam echosounder, a Doppler velocity log (DVL), a water speed and positioning system, all seamlessly integrated into the industry-standard HYPACK software, the HydroSurveyor streamlines the hydrographic surveying process. Designed from the ground up for today’s hydrographers, the HydroSurveyor represents the ultimate solution to field Hydrographics. Demonstration will be on the RV Callista at 0900, with a follow up classroom presentation at 1330.
See you in Southampton!
