Applied Microsystems introduces the Minos profiler

Posted on 18.02.2009 - 10:00 UTC in SURVEY NEWS by Rons_ROV_Links

Applied Microsystems (AML) is pleased to announce the release of a new instrument model, the Minos. The Minos SVP and Minos CTD are designed for vertical profiling from small launches or boats.

Key features and benefits include:

Small size: Roughly ½ the size of Applied Microsystems Plus v2, the instrument is sized to allow ease-of-deployment from small launches or boats.

Ease-of-use: An LED indicator light provides pre-deployment feedback on battery and logging status.

Total flexibility: With the recent release of SV·Xchange™ and the upcoming release of P·Xchange™ - field swappable sound velocity and pressure sensors - the Minos SVP is the only profiler on the market that doesn't need to return to the factory for calibration purposes.
