Cetix contract awarded for 2 ROV handling systemsCetix AS has succeeded in securing a contract for delivery of two ROV handling systems to be installed on DOF Subsea's new build, Skandi Singapore.

The contract is of great importance for Cetix AS since DOF Subsea AS is a major player in this market and their new build program may lead to additional contracts for Cetrix core products.

The system for Skandi Singapore is to be delivered to DOF Subsea in Q3-2009.

Both systems consist of an ORS (Overhead Rail System) and a Cetix Waverunner 13R.

The Waverunner 13R is an electric active heave compensated winch, which is designed to handle the working class ROV in a safe and controlled manner.
