This decision was taken after evaluation by Subsea 7 of several software applications, and is based on the proven planning, data-gathering and reporting functions of Coabis.
This is a fast-track implementation – Coabis will be installed, commissioned and in-use offshore for BP and Subsea 7 before Christmas 2004.

Shell Todd have taken this decision following extensive evaluation of several software applications.

Aker Kvaerner Offshore Partner is pleased to announce the release of Coabis 9.0. Building on the successful Coabis 8 application, the new version includes an interface with NETmc DVRi digital video encoder hardware. As well as encoding all routine video (full-frame MPEG2), this interface also enables Data Recorders to grab still images and create short video clips during dive operations, and link these files automatically to anomalies, etc.
