Apache II in transit from Canada to Invergordon, UK

  Technip, utilising Apache II, has completed a flowline installation programme for Husky on South White Rose, East Coast of Canada. The Apache is now en-route to Invergordon, Scotland. ETA 2013-08-17.


Technip and DOF awarded contract for four new pipelay support vessels

 The joint venture formed by Technip (50%) and DOF (50%) was awarded by Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobras) eight contracts. These contracts cover the construction of four new pipelay support vessels (PLSVs) and operation in Brazilian waters to install flexible pipes. The combined value for Technip is approximately €1.35 billion. 


Subsea 7 Extends Skandi Neptune Charter

 Subsea 7 has extended the contract for Skandi Neptune  with one year from March 2014. 

Skandi Neptune is a contruction support vessel,  capable of operating in water depths up to 3,000  meters. The vessel is equipped with a 250 mt crane and  2 ROVs. 


Fugro Brasilis - Delivery of New Build Survey Vessel

On 4 July 2013, Fugro formally took delivery of a new-build vessel, Fugro Brasilis; the fourth of Fugro’s FSSV series of dedicated offshore survey vessels. Designed to Fugro specifications and fitted with the latest survey equipment, these are the most advanced vessels in this field. The vessel will be utilised on a variety of projects offshore South America.


SLOK Nigeria Ltd Takes Delivery of Two PSVs

 SLOK Nigeria Ltd, a leading player in the upstream sector of Nigeria’s oil and gas industry, has taken delivery of two 75m DP2 platform supply vessels (PSVs) from Coastal Contracts Bhd. The two PSVs will proceed directly to West Africa for deployment.


Maersk Line, MSC and CMA CGM To Establish An Operational Alliance

 Maersk Line, MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. and CMA CGM have in principle agreed to establish a long-term operational alliance on East – West trades, called the P3 Network. The aim is to improve and optimise operations and service offerings.

 Subsea 7 S.A. announced that it has signed a contract to build a new heavy construction vessel which will be delivered in 2016.
