 Fugro has been awarded a major hydrographic survey project in the Middle East region which has an estimated value in excess of USD 80 million.

Cal Dive Announces Additional Pemex Contract Award of $40 Million

 Cal Dive announced that it was awarded a contract on August 6, 2013, from Pemex Exploración y Producción that is expected to generate revenue of approximately $40 million. This award is in addition to the three Pemex awards already announced in 2013 for approximately $250 million. This most recent award brings the total expected revenue from contracts awarded by Pemex to Cal Dive this year to approximately $290 million. This latest contract is for the procurement, installation and commissioning of 3.5 kilometers of 20 inch subsea pipeline and associated tie-ins to an existing platform. The offshore construction is expected to commence toward the end of the fourth quarter 2013 with the remainder of the work expected to be performed during the first quarter 2014.

Fugro awarded a large three-year contract by Chevron

  Fugro has been awarded a large three-year contract by Chevron’s subsidiary Cabinda Gulf Oil Company Ltd, to support its development program at Block 0, off the coast of Cabinda province, Angola.

Technip awarded subsea contract by Chevron North Sea

  Technip was awarded by Chevron North Sea Ltd a substantial(1) engineering, procurement, installation and construction (EPIC) contract for the Alder field. Chevron is developing the Alder field as a subsea tieback to the Britannia Bridge Link Platform (BLP). This field is located in the central North Sea, about 200 kilometers North-East of Aberdeen, Scotland, at a water depth of approximately 150 meters.

Technip awarded two flexible pipe supply contracts for the Egina field in Nigeri

  Technip was awarded two contracts, worth a substantial(1) total value, to supply flexible pipes for the Egina field operated by Total Upstream Nigeria Ltd, offshore Nigeria.

 
These contracts cover the qualification and supply of:
- 12 dynamic flexible jumpers(2) from 3.5" to 12.5" for oil production, gas lift, water injection and gas export, to connect the single top tension risers(3) to the floating production storage and offloading unit (FPSO),
- two 20.5” unbonded flexible pipes as oil offloading lines (OOL) connecting the FPSO to the offloading buoy,
- associated ancillary equipment.

Nigeria: Total Launches EGINA Development on OML 130

 Total announced that its subsidiary Total Upstream Nigeria Limited (TUPNI), operator of the OML 130 block, and co-venturers have obtained the necessary approvals from Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation to award the main EPC contracts for the development of the offshore Egina field.

FMC Technologies Awarded $500 Million Subsea Tree Contract for Petrobras' Pre-Sa

 FMC Technologies, Inc. announced that it has received an order from Petrobras , Brazil's national oil company, for the supply of subsea trees for its pre-salt fields, located offshore Brazil. The value of the award is estimated at $500 million and represents the call-off of the remaining value of the $1.5 billion agreement announced in March of 2012.

FMC Technologies Receives $1.2 Billion Subsea Equipment Order for Total's Egina

 FMC Technologies, Inc. announced that it has received an order from Total Upstream Nigeria Ltd. for subsea equipment for the Egina field. The award has an estimated value of $1.2 billion.

Cal Dive Awarded Two Additional Pemex Contracts Totaling $188 Million

 Cal Dive International, Inc. announced that it has been awarded two additional contracts from Pemex Exploración y Producción that are expected to generate combined total revenues of approximately $188 million. The first contract is for the procurement, installation and commissioning of 47 kilometers of 20 inch subsea pipeline and associated tie-ins to an existing platform. This contract is expected to generate revenues of approximately $129 million and will utilize two of the Company’s vessels as well as a third party vessel. The offshore construction is expected to commence in the third quarter 2013 with a portion of the work expected to be performed during the first quarter 2014. The second contract is for the procurement, installation and commissioning of nine kilometers of two medium diameter subsea pipelines and associated tie-ins to existing platforms. This contract is expected to generate revenues of approximately $59 million and will utilize a third party vessel and a Company dive support vessel. The offshore construction for this contract is expected to commence in the fourth quarter 2013 and is expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter 2014. On a combined basis, approximately 50% - 60% of the contracts are expected to be performed during 2013.

 Engineering and Project Services company Clough Limited announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Coens Energy, a Korean oil and gas manpower and logistics firm servicing the world’s largest fabrication yards.
