Conventional seismic imaging transmits sound energy into the ground and builds a picture of the underlying geology by analysing how the energy waves are reflected back to the receiver.

Ocean Yield Takes Delivery of DSCV SBM Installer

Ocean Yield ASA has taken delivery of the diving support and offshore construction vessel “SBM Installer”.
 
OS Installer, a  joint venture between Ocean Yield ASA (75%) and SBM Offshore (25%) purchased the vessel from SBM Offshore earlier this month for US$150 million in cash.

ASI Marine Wins On Two Continents With Falcon

 In both Australia and Canada, ASI Marine has established the record for the longest tunnel swim with a Falcon ROV. 

 
By creatively modifying a Saab Seaeye Falcon ROV, they were able to send the vehicle through a pipeline stretching over four kilometres under Gladstone Harbour, Queensland to Curtis Island.
