FMC Technologies, Inc. announced that it has received a subsea equipment order from ExxonMobil Corporation (ExxonMobil) for its Julia development in the GOM.

 Technip was awarded by Husky Oil Operations two contracts, with a combined substantial(1) value, for the planned subsea tieback of the South White Rose Extension field. The field is an extension of the White Rose field, located in the Jeanne d’Arc Basin, approximately 350 kilometers southeast of St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

  FMC Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: FTI) announced that it has received an order from ConocoPhillips Australia Pty. Ltd. for the supply of subsea equipment for its Bayu Undan Phase 3 project. The order has an estimated value of $26 million.

 At the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, held from May 5 to 9, Total was honoured with the Distinguished Achievement Award for Companies for its Pazflor deep offshore development. The prestigious award is presented annually to the company that has advanced deepwater oil expertise and technology as part of a major project.

 Subsea 7 S.A. announced that it has signed a contract to build a new heavy construction vessel which will be delivered in 2016.

 Technip officially named its latest new state-of-the art pipelay vessel on Friday 3rd May at Florø, Norway. During the ceremony held at Westcon’s Yard, the Deep Energy was named  by the vessel's godmother, Patricia Pilenko, wife of Thierry Pilenko, Technip’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

 FMC Technologies, Inc. announced that it was recognised at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) with the presentation of two Spotlight on New Technology Awards. The awards, which honour innovative technologies that significantly impact offshore exploration and production, are in recognition of FMC Technologies' subsea boosting system developed in cooperation with Sulzer Pumps Ltd. and FMC Technologies' Condition and Performance Monitoring (CPM) system.

  Technip was awarded by Statoil a contract for the removal and replacement of the two oil-loading systems at the Gullfaks field. This field is located in the North Sea, offshore Norway, at a water depth of approximately 130 meters.

  Technip was awarded by Statoil an engineering, procurement, construction and installation lump-sum contract for the Norne field development, located in the Norwegian Sea at a water depth of approximately 380 meters.

  Subsea 7 S.A. (Oslo Børs: SUBC) has announced that it has signed a contract to build a new heavy construction vessel which will be delivered in 2016.

 Total announces that the Ivoire-1X exploration well, located in the western portion of Block CI-100 in 2,280 meters of water, encountered 28 meters of net oil pay in a series of about 100 meters of Cretaceous reservoirs. The oil in the abrupt margin geological play is light 35  API oil.

 Technip, leader of a 50/50 consortium with Techint, was awarded by PNBV(1) a substantial(2) contract for the topside construction and integration, the commissioning and start up assistance of the P-76 floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) unit. Located in the Santos Basin pre-salt area offshore Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this unit will produce 180,000 barrels of oil and 7 million cubic meters per day of gas.
