BlueView Technologies, the world leader in compact acoustic imaging and measurement technology, and Schilling Robotics, a leading global, deep-ocean robotics company signed a Systems Integrator Agreement that enables Schilling to re-sell BlueView 2D and 3D products on Schilling Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).
In the coming weeks BlueView will deliver the 4,000 meter depth rated systems to Schilling for integration onto their ROV systems. The deepwater imaging sonar utilizes BlueView's new S2 oil compensated electronics in the industry's smallest deepwater housing to deliver crisp imagery and accurate data.
"BlueView imaging systems are in high demand and quickly becoming standard equipment for offshore ROVs providing essential data and imagery for operators, especially in low and zero visibility conditions," said Peter MacInnes, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Schilling Robotics, LLC.
"Working with Schilling enables BlueView to deliver our latest high-resolution acoustic imaging and measurement solutions to the offshore ROV market," said Lee Thompson, BlueView CEO/CTO. Thompson added: "We are very excited to serve the offshore ROV market by providing them with the latest acoustic imaging and measurement technology to improve operational efficiency."
BlueView is the leader in 2D imaging and 3D scanning sonar technology with more than 500 installed systems worldwide. BlueView Technologies' advanced sonar systems are currently deployed on AUVs, ROVs, surface vessels, fixed positions, and portable tripods, and have been adopted by leading manufacturers and service providers to support mission critical operations.
