Veripos, a world leader in the provision of precise GNSS positioning specialists for the offshore oil and gas industries, has secured a major positioning contract for an Indonesian well venture from Remote TS Pte of Singapore, one of South East Asia's foremost suppliers of underwater and topside inspection services.
As part of an important well-removal project in East Kalimantan, Indonesia, Veripos is providing Remote TS with its standard metre-level positioning service. This will support operations being carried out by Wildwell Control aboard Hallin Marine's 80-metre DP2 subsea operations vessel, Windermere. Supplementary hardware provided includes a proprietary LD3 integrated mobile unit together with an AsteRx2eH Pro dual-antenna GPS/GLONASS heading receiver featuring advanced signal processing algorithms.
