Marine solutions provider Offshore Marine Management (OMM) has opened a new larger office in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire to accommodate the company's continued growth, driven by an expanding client base and new business wins, including the inter-array cable installation at Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm.
The new office is four times the size of the previous premises and will house the company's submarine cable installation and maintenance, operations and maintenance, survey and inspection, subsea engineering and R&D departments. It will also allow for OMM's planned expansion for the second half of 2011 and throughout 2012.
OMM Managing Director, Rob Grimmond said the substantially increased office space will allow OMM to establish a dedicated survey and inspection engineering workshop and storage area including an asset management suite, final deliverables preparation, compilation and delivery area, as well as a new subsea engineering development section.
OMM's new office in Cambridge will cater for the company's ongoing expansion."I am delighted with the new office in Cambridge and the opportunity it offers OMM to further expand into key business areas such as cable installation, sub-sea inspection and operations and maintenance," Rob said.
Conqueror House is a popular established business location in landscaped grounds and was a natural choice for OMM who selected the area due to its international reputation as a centre for science, technology and R&D.
