Perth based Subsea Contractor TSMarine confirmed today the signing of a three year Charter with Oceanteam Bourbon 4 AS for the recently delivered 137mtr DP2 construction vessel Bourbon Oceanteam 104. Under the terms of the charter TSMarine will relocate the new build Bourbon Oceanteam 104 from Norway to the Asia Pacific Region during the 4th quarter of this year.
The Bourbon Oceanteam 104 is the fourth vessel in a series of five North Ocean 100 series design DP2 ships built in Metalship's Vigo yard in Spain. All ships in the series have been built to the demanding DNV + 1A1, DYNPOS-AUTR, EO, DK (+) CLEAN DESIGN classification. The vessel also holds SPS (Special Purpose Ship) class which is now a requirement under Australian maritime legislation.
This large and very capable vessel is configured with a Hydramarine 250te AHC primary subsea crane and a secondary Natoil 90te AHC subsea crane. With 2400m² of useable deck space, a beam of 27 mtrs and accommodation for 120 TSMarine will engage the ship primarily in field installation and decommissioning activities.

They are more familiar with the traditional approach of contractors undertaking their projects on a campaign basis with vessels deployed temporarily from other regions relocated at the completion of the works."
With the recent signing of a long term charter for the DP2 construction vessel Havila Phoenix this brings the TSMarine fleet to 4 ships with three, the 104, the Havila Harmony and the Rem Etive assigned to the Asia Pacific region and the Phoenix scheduled for Europe West Africa in well intervention activity.

Through this charter TS Marine has also gained access to the range of support services, engineering and vessels both Bourbon and Oceanteam deliver on a worldwide basis which will support this contract as well.
