Atlas Hydrosweep multibeam echosounders now interfacing Caraibes softwareAtlas Hydrographic announces another improvement of its key products. All multibeam echsounders of the Hydrosweep product family are now able to interface the Caraibes Software of Ifremer.

Ifremer - the French institute for oceanographic research - develops submarine mapping software for multibeam echosounders and sidescan sonars since 1977. Their specifications are prepared in close collaboration with researchers, signal processing and underwater acoustic specialists. As a consequence of this the Ifremer Software is well-known in marine science community.

Caraibes Software is a post-processing tool box to handle, clean, chart and display data from multibeam echosounders and sidescan sonars. This software can be used at sea during cruises or in any scientific laboratory and based on more 200 modules.
