OCS Training Institute announces new partnership with the OSHA Education Center at the University of Texas at Arlington
OCS Training Institute today announced that it has entered into partnership with the OSHA Education Center at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) to offer a full range of OSHA courses at its state-of-the-art safety training facility in Houston. Taught by experienced UTA instructors, the courses will train personnel and managers to maintain safe workplaces compliant with general industry and construction standards.
"We are delighted to enter into this partnership with the OSHA Education Center at UTA as the collaboration with UTA's OSHA program is a natural extension of our international-standard hazardous area safety training program," said Wayne Mayo, OCS Training Institute Project & Training Manager.
"OCS's training facility has been specifically designed to provide sophisticated safety instruction and realistic hands-on safety training demonstrations in industrial situations," said Lisa London, Director, University of Texas at Arlington. "Partnership with OCS will enable the OSHA Education Center at UTA to more readily serve the educational safety needs of industry, especially in several markets which historically have been identified by OSHA as underserved."
