Subsea Americas & Technip USA enters agreement for GoM ROV Tooling rental servicesSubsea Americas, LLC (SSA) and Technip have entered into an agreement for the provision of rental ROV tooling equipment & ROV systems for Technip's Gulf of Mexico operations. The agreement provides that Subsea Americas, LLC will be a primary provider to Technip, for both standardized and specialized ROV tooling equipment in both the rental and purchase aspects.

Subsea Americas, LLC based in Morgan City, La. offers work-class ROV operators tooling rentals and purchase option equipment on a worldwide basis. SSA offers its clients complete rental tooling suites that include API torque tools, "heavy duty" flying lead orientation tools, as well as hydrate remediation tools, hot stabs, variable buoyancy modules, hard-line cable cutters, pipe clamps and hooks up to 30ton.

Subsea Americas currently has in production and participating in on-going field tests what the company considers "next generation" ROV tooling technology. All electric intelligent torque tools, all electric intelligent Isolated Hydraulic Power Units, and Hydrate Remediation Tools. All SSA tools are designed with the ROV operator's ease of interfacing to the work-class ROVs for subsea operations and applications. The company is also positioned to offer its clients both subsea engineering capabilities and project management services.
