Sub-Atlantic Limited has been awarded ISO EN 9001:2008 certification, a global rating of quality developed by the International Organisation for Standardisation.
The ISO (International Standards Organisation), a network of national standards institutes from 148 countries, has 156 members. In addition to the ISO 9001 family, it has published more than 15,900 standards. ISO EN 9001:2008 is the latest measure of the ISO 9000 family of quality management. Certification is independently assessed and the standard represents a commitment to quality.
Ray Millum QHSE & IT Manager said: "Sub-Atlantic's commitment to continually improving the quality of our products and services has been demonstrated by the award of ISO EN 9001:2008 certification".
This strict measure of quality recognises the company's fulfilment of customer quality requirements, as well as any regulatory obligations of the industry. The stringent certification process investigates all aspects of the business to ensure that internal systems can deliver continually improving products and services.
The ISO EN 9001:2008 is the most commonly used international standard for the framework of an effective quality management system. The quality management system ensures consistency and continual improvement of working practices, which in turn will help Sub-Atlantic Limited to continue to provide services that meet its customers' requirements, operationally, commercially and technically.
