Nautronix expand presence in Brazil through working partnership with C & C Technologies do BrasilMarine technology solutions provider Nautronix and C & C Technologies do Brasil Ltda have announced a working partnership in the Brazil region. C & C who provide a wide range of survey and mapping services for the land and offshore oil and gas industry offer a clear synergy with Nautronix acoustic Through Water Communication and Positioning Technology solutions to the offshore industry.



The business relationship will aim to promote Nautronix technology to the Brazilian market where there is a huge potential for significant growth. The ADS² (Acoustic Digital Spread Spectrum) signalling used in Nautronix products is ideally suited for deepwater operations. In particular Nautronix innovative positioning system NASNet has the potential to significantly reduce costs for operators and contractors involved in deepwater field developments. The system is currently deployed for Petrobras on the Cascade / Chinook field in the Gulf of Mexico at water depths down to 2,900 m and is still operational on the Frade field Offshore Brazil where it has been providing positioning since February 2008.

The alliance will also provide additional support for existing Nautronix customers in the Brazil region. The company have already delivered millions of dollars of equipment to the area and are focused on delivering the best customer service available and increasing their presence in the region.
