Hallin Marine West Division's MD Mike Arnold 'feels like Alex Ferguson with the best squad in the league' after making his latest signing and reshaping his team. Mike has carried out the changes that have restructured and increased Hallin's senior management team in readiness for the next stage of its growth.
The changes come into effect immediately at the Aberdeen based division of the AIM quoted subsea solutions provider to the oil and gas industry.
Long time Hallin employee Mark Wood, 37, moves up to Technical Director with responsibility for project delivery. Mark's role expands in the company, with an additional four senior managers now reporting to him.
John Pattison joins the division as operations director with special responsibility for business development. John, 43, joins from Global Marine Systems Ltd, where he was projects director, and previously ran his own project management consultancy. He will be moving from Southern Essex to Aberdeen.
Hallin West managing director, Mike Arnold, said: "I do feel a little like Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson, who once managed in Aberdeen, knowing I have the best team in the league!"
"Like Fergie's squad mine is made up on home-grown talent and the best available on the transfer market from competitors. They are all experienced pros who have achieved great success but are still hungry for more!"
"The West Division has grown quickly and our team has been fantastic in coping with the immense demands that growth has put upon them."
"Now we are taking a breath and preparing for the next stage of our growth by ensuring we have the best people and the right infrastructure in place to ensure we continue to deliver outstanding service to our clients and keep winning - just like Man U!"
