Applied Acoustics expansion plans moving aheadApplied Acoustics is making steady progress with the building of a new larger facility in the commercial district of Great Yarmouth. The successful launch of several new products in recent years has meant production facilities have been under pressure, so by moving into larger premises the company hopes to satisfy both the staff by giving them more space to work, as well as their customers by offering a greater product range and even shorter lead times.

"We're adding more production areas, increasing test capabilities, and adding a new pressure test facility, which among other things, will allow us to develop products for full ocean depth operations," said Adam Darling, Managing Director, "The staff have worked hard and a healthy order book reflects their efforts, so I'm delighted we can step up to provide an even better service in the months ahead."

The £1m new factory is due to open in the first quarter of 2009.
