VisualSoft announces VisualEyes and salesVisualSoft have developed a new product called VisualEyes for real-time distribution and viewing of video over networks.

VisualEyes allows any networked PC to view video from any number of cameras on the network. Not only is the system more flexible than traditional video distribution but it is also more economic.

Subsea 7

Subsea 7 are taking delivery of several new vessels in 2008 and have selected VisualDVR and VisualWorks as their principal means of video recording on all new vessels. Subsea 7 have elected to standardise their video recording based on VisualSoft products so that vessels will be capable of supporting all forms of video inspection and monitoring without the need to change video recorders.

Shell UK

Shell UK have initiated a pilot project to test the performance of VisualGIS. The Ormen Lange project team will be using VisualGIS to quickly access video and survey data obtained using VisualWorks. If this pilot project proves successful then it is hoped that the system will be introduced to other parts of Shell. Early indications are that the users are impressed with its ease of use, simplicity and fast integration with their central data storage.
