DOF Subsea (Asia Pacific) has received a LOI work in the Gulf of ThailandDOF Subsea (Asia Pacific) has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) for the provision of MV Geosea together with associated saturation diving support in the Gulf of Thailand. MV Geosea is a multi purpose offshore vessel with fully integrated subsea intervention systems; including saturation diving spread, air diving and ROV systems.

The MV Geosea will mobilize from Songkhla in Thailand for the project in mid September. The duration of the work on-site is for 45 days, with 20 daily options. The program has an estimated value of USD 6 Million and works undertaken will include subsea metrology and clamp installations in support of platform riser fabrication and installation works.

The award follows the successful completion of the MV Geosea Diving Services contract associated with the Sakhalin II Phase 2 Development Project.
