Seacon Phoenix renamed Sea Connect ProductsSeacon Phoenix, a world leader in underwater cable and connector solutions for military and commercial applications, has been renamed Sea Connect Products.

Acquired in April 2007 by AMETEK, Inc. (NYSE:AME) Sea Connect Products enjoys an excellent reputation with the world's leading naval defense contractors and holds strong positions on several current submarine development programs. Headquartered in Westerly, RI, with manufacturing operations in Westerly and Barrow-in-Furness, UK, Sea Connect Products is a unit of AMETEK HCC Industries.

Sea Connect Products' custom electrical and optical connectors, cable assemblies and hull penetrators are widely found on the U.S. submarine fleet as well as many other of the world's navies. In addition, Sea Connect Products provides electrical interconnect solutions for a wide range of extreme environments, including undersea, oil field, nuclear and aerospace that draw upon its extensive knowledge of submarine systems and expertise in electrical connector and data transmission technologies.

AMETEK HCC Industries is a division of AMETEK's Electromechanical Group (EMG).
