CMLabs completes major deep sea ROV contractCMLabs Simulations Inc. is pleased to announce that it has completed a major project - a deep sea remotely operated vehicle (ROV) Training Simulator for Perry Slingsby Systems, the world's leading supplier of remotely operated technologies to the offshore industry.

The ROV training simulator was built using Vortex, a toolkit modeling vehicles, machines and robots for real-time, interactive simulations. The toolkit is based on unique intellectual property that enables validatable, high fidelity computer-based training and virtual product testing with interacting simulations of vehicles, rigid and flexible bodies, gases, fluids and much more.

The simulator provides for operator training of an underwater ROV interacting within its environment including the sea bottom, current effects, cables and a variety of supporting artifacts.

CMLabs' professional services team provides expertise in building, validating and maintaining advanced dynamics applications and providing integration between hardware and software. CMLabs combined product offering and consulting expertise accelerates time to market while lowering total costs thereby leveraging first mover advantages. As a uniquely experienced project team able to produce physics-based simulations for the visualization and simulation industry, we are proud of our reputation for delivering projects on-time, on budget, and within specifications, at the highest level of quality.
