CMLabs Simulations Inc. is pleased to announce that it has completed a major project - a deep sea remotely operated vehicle (ROV) Training Simulator for Perry Slingsby Systems, the world's leading supplier of remotely operated technologies to the offshore industry.
The ROV training simulator was built using Vortex, a toolkit modeling vehicles, machines and robots for real-time, interactive simulations. The toolkit is based on unique intellectual property that enables validatable, high fidelity computer-based training and virtual product testing with interacting simulations of vehicles, rigid and flexible bodies, gases, fluids and much more.
The simulator provides for operator training of an underwater ROV interacting within its environment including the sea bottom, current effects, cables and a variety of supporting artifacts.
