Hallin wins US$8.6 million vessel contract for Sanko Angel

Hallin wins US$8.6 million vessel contract for Sanko AngelHallin Marine, the AIM quoted provider of subsea solutions to the oil and gas industry, announces it has received a Letter of Intent for the charter of the Hallin operated vessel the Sanko Angel.

The vessel’s first contract has been secured with a major oil & gas operator and will involve Hallin Marine providing construction support for offshore oil & gas installations.

The US$8.6 million contract for the vessel will commence during the next few weeks and run to November 2007.

Sanko Angel

The 76 metre Sanko Angel, which is a Multi-purpose Subsea Operations Vessel and can accommodate up to 130 personnel onboard, will be operating in DP2 (Dynamic Positioning Class two) mode.

John Giddens, Chief Executive of Hallin Marine, said: “We are very pleased to be able to announce this major project. This will be Hallin Marines’ first vessel contract with the newly delivered Sanko Angel and we look forward to a successful project ahead.”
